| There will be a USG Learning Support Conference on January 31, 2013, at Macon State College on January 31, 2013. Please attend and enjoy 16 presentations by our USG and TSCG colleages. Also, this will provide an enviroment for interaction and networking with your peers. The last meeting of the GADE Executive Board was on February 24, 2012, in Orlando, Florida at the NADE National Conference. All other communications were by phone and email. There will not be a collection of membership dues at the 2013 State Conference to allow for a reorganization of the GADE Executive Board through a nomination and election process of a new board by May 2013. The executive board will remain the same until the nomination and election process is complete. All nominations and elections will take place at the conference and online on the GADE website. Tentavely, there is a deadline for nominations of April 12, 2013. The GADE web site is up to date and can accommodate online nominations, All members should present materials to the appropiate email on the GADE website for publishing to spotlight all of the great accomplishments of all USG Learning Support Programs. There have been LS course redesigns and there will be changes in the USG LS Math curriculum later this year. Again, plan on attending the 2013 USG LS Conference and stop by the GADE table for information and give input for the future of GADE. My commitment is to make sure that through these tough times, all members will participate and grow in a successful teaching and learning enviroment that compliments your outstanding work and commitment.
